OVERVIEW
LAND is a Real Estate Fund with a sustainable purpose, based on the acquisition and responsible management of land.
LAND focuses on the conservation, protection and restoration of abandoned and less favoured territories in Portugal and Spain, including areas that have experienced severe fire damage in the last decade, endorsing social cohesion, job creation and revitalization of local communities.
Intervention Model
LAND’s management activities will enhance the provision of ecosystem services in its territories under its management, contemplating key issues such as native species reintroduction, ecosystem regeneration and diversification, fire prevention, water conservation and quality management, biodiversity protection and improvement and promotion of carbon sequestration and storage.
IMPACT
LAND will create several co-benefits for the environment and society while generating financial returns for its investors. LAND promotes the use of advanced technologies for more accurate and resource-efficient forest management and biotic and abiotic risk management.
